Reports to Director of Operations and provides intervention and supportive planning services for patients in medication assisted treatment program, including but not limited to clinical assessment, and counseling (individual/marital/ family/group) commensurate with their clinical training and experience) in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Coordinate therapy services, ensuring ethical and effective services based on best practices are provided. Assists in the training and supervision of Staff Therapists; monitors paperwork and processes of therapists, timely submission of appropriate fee for service paperwork ; and provides direct counseling services to patients seeking recovery services through medication assisted treatment, abstinence-based treatment, or a combination of both; maintains a direct service caseload, with the additional hours reserved for clinical/administrative duties as defined by the job description, accreditation services, and program.Job Description:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Participates in ongoing communication with physician and interdisciplinary team to develop a collaborative relationship aimed at improving clinical treatment goals and appropriate and timely discharge for the patient
2. Implement counseling services utilizing current best practices in core arenas of trauma treatment, holistic strengths-based case management, danger and lethality assessment, high-risk case management, crisis intervention, healthy relationships, constructive coping, resiliency, and interdisciplinary teamwork.
3. Maintains a current treatment plan and supportive documentation on all patients
4. Timely documentation and billing of all individual, group, and family therapy encounters
5. Conducts individual, family, and group counseling/education (IOP and COR-12), utilizing theoretical knowledge of psychopathology and evidence-based intervention techniques consistent with levels of competency and licensure/certification
6. Proactively makes appropriate referrals to internal and postacute service providers to ensure continuity of care during and post treatment
7. Provide expertise to the team in developing treatment and discharge planning strategies for patients
8. Provide support to patients, families, and staff education regarding treatment services. Opportunities for conducting education may include patient families, 1 on 1 staff education, service line meetings, and other SEP practices if requested
9. Participates in quality monitoring and outcome studies to assess effectiveness of interventions
10. Maintains high team standards by addressing coordination problems with the functioning of the healthcare team
11. Adheres to state and other governing bodies for licensure/certification, and meets SEP requirements for mandatory and services and competencies
12. Responsible for managing documentation, reporting, and other tasks required to comply with grant requirements.
13. Ensure therapy staff completes required documentation, including client records, service reports and administrative paperwork thoroughly and in a timely manner.
14. Provides monthly individual supervision for staff therapists, as regulated by accreditation standards.
15. Serves as an advocate for the therapy staff in clinical meetings and in community engagement.
16. Collaborates with staff therapists monthly to process case Roster, therapeutic interventions, workflow process changes, and other administrative tasks as assigned by the program and Director of Operations
17. Coach employees to meet established work goals on quantitative/qualitative standards
18. Evaluate employee performances and provide feedback in a timely manner. Obtain physician and mid-level practitioner feedback as necessary and appropriate.
19. Attend monthly Managers meetings as well as other mandatory meetings.
20. Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
1. Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team-based decision-making culture.

3. Experience in planning and coordinating multi-disciplinary communications strategies, strategic initiatives, and events.

8. Cooperates with other departments and work groups.
9. Psychiatry/Chemical Dependency background with counseling skills in assessment, individual/family/marital and group therapy (IOP and COR-12).
10. Competency in DSM-IV/ ICD-10 diagnosis. Competency in CPT terminology and coding.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling.
LPCC, LCSW, LMFT
EDUCATION:
Masters degree in psychology, social work, or counseling
Must fulfill credentialing requirements to bill for patient services
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Outpatient Chemical Dependency Treatment Facility
Preferably 3-5 years of experience
