PGY1 Pharmacy Residents

Dr. Lindsay Brown

Dr. Lindsay Brown

Dr. Lindsay Brown is currently serving as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy in 2026. During pharmacy school, Lindsay worked as an intern at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Lindsay’s areas of interest include medication safety, ambulatory care, and internal medicine, and she hopes to become a board-certified pharmacist upon completion of her PGY1. In her spare time, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her friends and family, Pilates, and cheering for the Bengals!

Dr. Yingying Gu

Dr. Yingying Gu

Dr. Yingying Gu is currently serving as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in 2026. Prior to residency, Yingying worked as a certified inpatient pharmacy technician at St. Elizabeth Healthcare and gained additional experience as a pharmacy intern at UK HealthCare Markey Cancer Center. Her professional interest is oncology, and upon completing her PGY1 residency, she hopes to pursue a PGY2 oncology pharmacy residency. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys scuba diving, exploring new restaurants, completing escape rooms, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Lauren Hobbs

Dr. Lauren Hobbs

Dr. Lauren Hobbs is currently serving as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy in 2026. Prior to residency, Lauren worked as an intern at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center Specialty Pharmacy. Her professional interests include ambulatory care and critical care. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, staying active, spending time with family and friends, and playing with her two cats, Mylo and Mia.

Dr. Suthasinee (Iris) Jennings

Dr. Suthasinee (Iris) Jennings

Dr. Suthasinee (Iris) Jennings is currently serving as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare. She completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy in 2026. During pharmacy school, Iris worked as an intern at St. Vincent de Paul Charitable Pharmacy and in the Inpatient Pharmacy at Mercy Jewish Hospital. Her professional interests include ambulatory care and critical care. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, trying new foods and discovering local restaurants, unwinding with a good Netflix series, playing Nintendo games with her two children, Anya and Logan, and spending time with her playful puppy, Maple.

Dr. Katie Reeder

Dr. Katie Reeder

Dr. Katie Reeder is currently serving as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University Rudolph Raabe College of Pharmacy in 2026. During pharmacy school, Katie gained experience as an inpatient intern at Miami Valley Hospital. Upon completion of her PGY1 residency, Katie hopes to pursue a PGY2 Pharmacy Residency in oncology. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, enjoying the outdoors, and cooking.

Dr. Kamryn Webb

Dr. Kamryn Webb

Dr. Kamryn Webb is currently serving as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in 2026. During pharmacy school, Kamryn worked as an intern at the Kentucky Children’s Hospital. Her professional interests include oncology and pediatrics. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends, playing sand volleyball, working out, golfing and exploring new places.

Dr. Jackie Zhang

Dr. Jackie Zhang

Dr. Jackie Zhang is currently serving as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in 2026. During pharmacy school, Jackie worked as an intern at Walmart Pharmacy. His professional interests include oncology, infectious disease, emergency medicine, and internal medicine. In Jackie’s spare time, he enjoys trying new restaurants, hiking and exploring local parks, going to the gym, and oil painting.

PGY2 Pharmacy Residents

Dr. Marcella Babatunde

Dr. Marcella Babatunde

Dr. Marcella Babatunde is currently serving as a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare after completing her PGY1 training at St. Elizabeth Healthcare. She completed her undergraduate course work and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy. Prior to pharmacy school, Marcella worked as a technician at Walgreens. During pharmacy school, she gained more experience as an intern at Prisma Health – Richland Hospital Inpatient Pharmacy and Prisma Health – Greenville Memorial Hospital Inpatient Pharmacy. Marcella’s special interests include diabetes, heart failure, and specialty medications and disease states. Upon completion of her PGY2 residency, she hopes to pursue a career as a clinical pharmacist in ambulatory care and obtain board certification. In Marcella’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, going to her CrossFit classes, trying new restaurants, and playing with her two cats.

Dr. Dan Giller

Dr. Veronica Butts

Dr. Veronica Butts is currently serving as a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare after completing her PGY1 training at Kettering Health Dayton. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University Rudolph Raabe College of Pharmacy in 2025. During pharmacy school, Veronica gained experience as an intern at Mercy Health – Fairfield inpatient pharmacy. Her special interests include ambulatory care with a focus on diabetes, psychiatry, and cardiology.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and trying out new restaurants and experiences!

Dr. Emma Fransen

Dr. Emma Fransen

Dr. Emma Fransen is currently serving as a PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Michigan and completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. Upon completion of her residency training, Emma hopes to pursue a career as an oncology clinic pharmacist. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, baking, spending time with friends, and cheering on the Michigan Wolverines. 

 

Dr. Daphne Mann

Dr. Daphne Mann

Dr. Daphne Mann is currently serving as a PGY2 Clinical Pharmacogenomics Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Missouri – Kansas City and completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at St. Elizabeth Healthcare. Upon completion of her residency training, Daphne hopes to pursue a career as a clinical pharmacist specializing in pharmacogenomics. Outside of residency, Daphne enjoys going to concerts, reading, making sourdough bread, and spending time with her husband and pets.

 

Dr. Samira Samarbakhsh

Dr. Samira Samarbakhsh

Dr. Samira Samarbakhsh is currently serving as a PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare. She earned her dual degrees, a Doctor of Pharmacy and a Master of Health Informatics, from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She then completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at the Mount Sinai Health System in Brooklyn, New York. Upon completion of her residency training, Samira plans to pursue a career as a clinical oncology pharmacist in the ambulatory care setting and hopes to become involved in oncology research as well. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing tennis, and trying new restaurants.
