Job Title: (RN) Virtual Health Team Lead 3rd Shift
PRIMARY PURPOSE: Reports to the Inpatient Manager-Virtual Health, the Virtual Health Team Lead will be responsible to assist with oversight and leadership of our virtual health operations. This role involves providing system admit support for Qgenda, leading virtual inpatient processes, and ensuring seamless workflow and staffing support. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Work with manager to interview and evaluate candidates for open positions.
- Ensure new employees are properly oriented and are aware of the performance expectations of their position.
- Consult with manager to provide coaching and document performance concerns immediately, thoroughly, and accurately. Must partner with manager and/or HR to address and deliver formal corrective action.
- Evaluate associate performance and provide feedback in a timely manner. Provide feedback & examples for annual performance evaluations for direct reports, obtaining stakeholder feedback as necessary and appropriate.
- Utilize de-escalation, customer service skills, and critical thinking to resolve patient related issues in real-time.
- Collaborate with inpatient teams and nursing supervisors to ensure coordinated care.
- Accurately maintain and adjust associate timecards via payroll system by the deadlines set by payroll (as needed)
- Analyze staffing levels and schedule associates to maximize efficiency and productivity. Maintain staffing levels based on established company metrics.
- Cover Virtual Health inpatient roles during times of short staffing.
- Coach associates on meeting established work goals based on various clinical and other key measurements.
- Through effective management, maximize retention and minimize associate turnover. Recognize employees for outstanding performance and work to keep associates highly engaged.
- Maintain a motivational, positive, and supportive working environment for associates to include praise and recognition.
- Communicate and administer policies and procedures as outlined. Consult with manager as appropriate to address policy and procedure issues.
- Provide associate education and support, including Midas training.
- Provide support to associates with workflow questions and issues.
- Create and modify workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in facilitating monthly staff meetings to ensure clear communication and team cohesion.
- Cover Virtual Health inpatient roles during times of short staffing.
- Assist with budget planning and management
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of electronic Health Records (EPIC)
- Knowledge of process improvement techniques
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and the ability to learn other computer skills as needed.
- Work professionally with doctors, hospital administration and management, SEP associates and the public.

EDUCATION:
Minimum: Associates Degree
Complete SEH/SEP ECG class and pass exam yearly minimum score of 85% and 100% on lethal arrhythmias.
Desired: Bachelors degree
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Active KY RN License.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: 3+ years of clinical experience
Desired: Supervisory experience
