Reports to the Operations Manager, the Physician is primarily responsible for providing patient care services, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating and educating patients. The Physician works closely with other physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care. The Physician is a highly visible position that is always responsible for creating a positive impression with patients, physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, and other visitors he/she encounters, both in person and on the phone.Job Description:

Qualified Candidates:
- High acuity ICU beds
- Must be fellowship trained in critical care medicine; all specialty tracts will be considered (i.e., internal medicine, anesthesiology, etc.)
- 168 12-hr shifts.
- Onboarding will include rounding in all units. Day shift will be expected to see patients in the MICU, CICU, and CSR at Edgewood hospital. Night shift will oversee patients in the MICU, CICU, CSR, and support night APPs in these units.
- Must be board certified or board eligible. Certification within six years after training.
