OverviewSt. Elizabeth Physicians is actively recruiting for a BC/BE general surgeon to join our team in Northern Kentucky. This practice would offer a blend of elective and emergent general surgery. Majority of practice would be bread and butter general surgery with the ability to build a niche practice based on your experience or skillset.
Position Highlights:
A robust 400+ providers in our primary care network providing a solid referral base
Da Vinci Xi robots at each campus (4 at Edgewood, 1 at Ft. Thomas, 2 at Florence)
2 local GI groups providing full range of endoscopy
Employed vascular group that provides state of the art endovascular and open care
ER/practice call shared among general, colorectal, and bariatric surgeons
Skilled diagnostic and interventional radiology available at all campuses
Surgical ICU at Edgewood that is staffed in-house 24/7 by fellowship trained intensivists
St. Elizabeth Physicians has a Nurse Triage line which handles outpatient calls, reaching out to our surgeons for calls that require physician input
Opportunity to teach medical students from the Northern Kentucky University branch campus of the University of Kentucky Medical School
Opportunity exists to work part time in wound care (all training provided)
