Position Overview
St. Elizabeth Physicians is seeking a dedicated Neurology Physician with a clinical focus in Headache Medicine to join our growing, patient‑centered neurology team. This role offers the opportunity to build a thriving subspecialty practice within a respected, physician‑led organization committed to high‑quality, compassionate care.
You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to diagnose, treat, and manage the full spectrum of headache disorders, while also contributing to general neurology services as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with headache and facial pain disorders, including migraine, cluster headache, tension-type headache, and complex headache syndromes.
- Perform and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing, including neuroimaging and neurological assessments.
- Offer advanced treatment options such as Botox injections, nerve blocks, CGRP therapies, and infusion services.
- Collaborate closely with neurology colleagues, primary care physicians, pain management, behavioral health, and other specialties to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical protocols, and evidence‑based practice development.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
- Provide patient education and support to promote long‑term disease management and improved quality of life.
- Participate in teaching opportunities with residents or medical students
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Neurology residency.
- Fellowship training in Headache Medicine preferred (or significant clinical experience in headache management).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology (required).
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Kentucky.
- Strong communication skills, clinical judgment, and commitment to patient‑centered care.
