Position Overview
St. Elizabeth Physicians is seeking a Neurology Physician to join our growing, patient‑centered neurology team. This is an excellent opportunity for a neurologist interested in building a rewarding clinical practice within a respected, physician‑led organization committed to high‑quality, compassionate care.
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive neurological care across a broad range of conditions, with the flexibility to develop or maintain subspecialty interests based on training and patient needs. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a supportive and well‑resourced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with a wide range of neurological conditions.
- Perform and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing, including neurological examinations and neuroimaging.
- Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence‑based practices.
- Collaborate closely with neurology colleagues, primary care physicians, and other specialists to ensure coordinated, high‑quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical protocols, and best‑practice development.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
- Educate patients and families to support long‑term disease management and improved quality of life.
- Participate in teaching opportunities with residents and/or medical students, as applicable.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Neurology residency.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Kentucky.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a commitment to patient‑centered care.
- Interest in general neurology required; subspecialty interests welcomed but not required.
