This role also works in close partnership with our Associate General Counsel to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and uphold the highest standards of integrity in provider relations.

Provider HR Business Partner
Location: Erlanger, KY
Reports To: Director of Human Resources
Employment Type: Full-Time Exempt
Travel: Local travel between office sites required

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership & Executive Collaboration
- Serve as a strategic HR advisor to physician and APP leadership, including direct collaboration with the CMO.
- Translate clinical and operational goals into actionable people strategies.
- Lead change management initiatives.
Provider Relations & Performance Management
- Guide leaders through complex provider relations issues, including investigations, corrective actions, and terminations.
- Partner closely with legal counsel to ensure compliance with federal/state laws and internal policies.
- Monitor and improve provider engagement and retention using data-driven insights.
Leadership Development & Culture Building
- Coach clinical leaders on conflict resolution, communication, and team dynamics.
- Facilitate leadership development programs and support succession planning.
- Champion a culture of accountability, inclusion, and psychological safety.
Compliance & Risk Mitigation
- Provide expert guidance on ADA, FMLA, HIPAA, FLSA, and other regulatory matters.
- Collaborate with legal and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth provider onboarding and offboarding experiences.
Analytics & Insights
- Use HR analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Present actionable insights to leadership to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum: 5 years of progressive HR experience, including complex employee relations.
- Preferred: Experience supporting clinical/provider populations.
Skills & Attributes:
- Executive presence with strong communication and influencing skills.
- Strategic thinker with business acumen and emotional intelligence.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics tools.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead through change.
