Reports to the Human Resources Manager, the Provider Relations HR Business Partner position is responsible for aligning the Mission, Vision and Values with provider associates and leadership within St. Elizabeth Physicians (SEP) through the planning, processing, implementing and maintaining of all facets of Employee Relations. A successful Provider Relations HR Business Partner will act as an objective change agent and facilitator of human resources and legal compliance associated with provider associates. The Provider Relations HR Business Partner assesses and anticipates employee relations-related needs, communicates proactively with stakeholders, and seeks to develop integrated solutions in a timely way. The Provider Relations HR Business Partner formulates partnerships across SEP and serves as a role model for positive and ethical behavior.Job Description:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partners with leaders, researches, and addresses issues that pertain to provider performance management, provider employee relations, provider employee discipline, and human resource policies and procedures by aiding in the analysis of specific concerns. Works with leadership to understand operational needs and plans, identifies risks, and resolves known provider employee relations issues. Investigates a variety of provider associate-related issues, incidents and complaints that may be in violation of Federal and State Laws.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the operation and organization, which may include attendance at various leadership and associate meetings. Maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for satisfactory performance of all assigned areas of responsibility.
- Supports management by providing provider employee relations advice, counsel, and decisions, analyzing information and situations. Reviews, advises, and ensures appropriate actions are taken on provider corrective action and terminations to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, policies, procedures, and acceptable management practices. Reviews and facilitates provider status changes.
- Participates in and partners with Organizational Development in the delivery of skills training in such areas as conflict resolution, interpersonal communication, and effective group interaction to clinical leadership. Assists in educating clinical leadership with regards to general and specific human resources policies, procedures and documentation.
- Assists in compliance, general support and problem resolution regarding providers with Leaves of Absence, ADA, FLSA, HIPAA, FMLA, Workers comp and other related regulations and internal policies.
- Supports the material changes to policies and procedures, compensation or other areas that affect providers.
- Works in collaboration with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient provider off-boarding process and experience for both the provider and SEP.
- Presents HR specific information for New Provider Orientation and is available for provider meetings as needed.
- Collaborates with CMO to maintain consistency and alignment among the divisions on provider employee relations.

EDUCATION:
Minimum: Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration or related discipline.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum: Must have reliable transportation for travel between office sites
Desired: SHRM/HRCI Accreditations (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP)
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or role with similar functions/responsibilities, including experience resolving complex employee relations issues
Preferred: 2 years of experience in physician medical group or healthcare environment.
