St. Elizabeth Physicians is seeking an experienced Anesthesia Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our award-winning healthcare team. As an integral member of our anesthesia care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-anesthesia care services including pre-anesthesia evaluation
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other clinicians to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Conduct thorough medical histories, physical examinations, order and review diagnostic tests as needed, place medication orders
- Educate patients and families on anesthesia options, risks, and post-operative care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction
Qualifications:
- APRN Certification FNP Required
- Experience in pre-operative or post-operative care preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of electronic medical records and anesthesia information management systems
- Skill in case management, time management, and problem-solving
- Ability to analyze complex data and draw conclusions
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team-based decision-making culture
