Journey Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Covington. As a Nurse Practitioner specializing in addiction medicine, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Your expertise and commitment will help our patients on their journey to recovery and improve their overall health and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with substance use disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to provide holistic care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families about addiction, treatment options, and recovery strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient care and progress.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in addiction medicine.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Kentucky.
- Certification in addiction medicine or relevant experience in the field.
- Strong clinical skills and experience in managing substance use disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
