Overview
The Advanced Practice Provider is primarily responsible for providing patient care services, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating and educating patients. The Advanced Practice Provider works closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care. The Advanced Practice Provider is a highly visible position that is always responsible for creating a positive impression with patients, physicians and other visitors he/she encounters, both in person and on the phone.
Responsibilities
Schedule:
This role involves a combination of inpatient and outpatient duties. While you will not be required to work in the ICU setting, you will be expected to float between our outpatient pulmonology locations and provide rounds on the medical-surgical and pulmonary floors within the hospital. The position requires working 12-hour shifts, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

We are seeking a flexible provider with:
Clinical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of anatomy, pathophysiology, pharmacology, nutrition, and psychosocial factors
- Ability to interpret diagnostic tests and make clinical decisions
- Knowledge of alternative treatment options
Technical Skills:
- Experience with medical equipment and patient care tools
- Knowledge of safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment
Patient Care:
- Ability to promote health, identify risks, and educate patients
- Use of community and professional resources to support care
Licensing:
- PA or APRN degree/certification
- Eligible to obtain a state license in KY and/or IN
Flexibility:
- Willingness to adapt to different locations and work settings as needed
