St. Elizabeth Physicians is seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our dynamic Obstetrics and Gynecology team. The CNM will provide comprehensive care to patients across the continuum of obstetric and gynecological services, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care. The ideal candidate will be passionate about women’s health and committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

• Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care, including labor and delivery support.
• Perform routine and complex gynecological exams and procedures.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
• Conduct patient assessments, including physical examinations, history-taking, and diagnostic tests.
• Manage and assist with deliveries, including vaginal and cesarean sections.
• Offer guidance and support on contraception, family planning, and reproductive health.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in continuous professional development and stay current with advances in midwifery practice.
• Adhere to all relevant regulations, guidelines, and protocols.

• Current certification as a Nurse Midwife (CNM) by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
• Active RN license in the state of Kentucky.
• Master’s degree in Nurse Midwifery from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing midwife. 
• Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
