Job Summary:
Professionally trained individual who produces high quality radiographs for all interventional studies, assists with sterile setup, and maintains sterile technique throughout procedures.Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.
Job Description:
We’re looking for a skilled technologist who not only meets all the responsibilities of a registered technologist but also has a strong understanding of sterile techniques, anatomy, and physiology. You’ll review patient histories, take necessary precautions to prevent adverse reactions, and follow all safety standards to ensure safe, effective care. In addition to performing all standard procedures, you’ll be trained to assist with advanced intervention procedures, including venous access and monitoring sedation and medications during interventions. You'll also handle patient data, ensure accurate billing and coding, and manage supplies effectively. Education, Credentials, Licenses:
• Education and National Credentials:
- Graduate of an approved accredited program of Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT(R)(CV) or ARRT(R)(VI) registered.
- Current CPR certification
• State Licensure:
- Kentucky:
- KBMIRT Radiation Operators License (Radiography).
- Indiana:
- Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) License – Radiologic Technologist
Specialized Knowledge:
- Excellent understanding of radiation protection and sterile technique.
