The St. Elizabeth General Marketing position is ideal for someone who is interested in furthering his or her education and experience in the world of Marketing and PR. St. Elizabeth Healthcare offers an advanced approach to brand-building in a progressive and competitive industry. This internship will provide exposure to various aspects of media relations, communications and marketing or creative project work that may include, but are not limited to writing press releases, news publication planning, CRM management, Digital Asset Tool Management, social media and content optimization and service line advertising and promotional support. Learning objectives are achieved through training, observation, and learning-by-doing under close supervision with constructive feedback.Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors, and other employees regardless of cultural background.
Job Description:
- Help to lead and execute Marketing, Insights and Creative-Design based projects. This could include working with advertising and multi-media as well as various promotional materials for the entire health system.
- Help to lead and execute Communications, PR and Digital projects. This includes media relations, internal associate engagement projects, web and social as well as working within a CRM platform.
- Other duties as assigned
Education, Credentials, Licenses:
- Open to college students working towards a bachelors degree.
Specialized Knowledge:
- Creative self-starter who is comfortable with both taking initiative and working in collaboration.
- Relationship builder as Public Relations is a key liaison between the community and St Elizabeth.
- Have a passion for storytelling
- Familiarity and facility with mainstream social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Yelp, LinkedIn, and Google+.
- Have experience with data and analytics.
- Must have excellent attention to detail, organizational skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Power Point) on a Windows platform.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to rapidly changing priorities while effectively managing workload and meeting deadlines.
