The Cardiac Vascular Manager manages the daily, system-wide activities for the technical and procedural operations of the Cardiology and Vascular imaging departments. The manager is responsible for patient flow and accountable for coordination of care with other departments and staff. The manager coordinates/manages departmental issues, material management, staff scheduling, patient care, accreditation requirements and patient relations.
Supervises assigned personnel in the departments and promotes quality services. Works as a sonographer as needed. Demonstrates respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.
Qualifications:
Education, Credentials, Licenses:
Active status, ARDMS, RVT or other approved registry. Bachelor degree in allied health science
Special training in Non-Invasive Cardiac and/or Vascular Imaging.
Specialized Knowledge:
Excellent understanding of the equipment and procedures associated with Cardiac/Vascular Imaging. Must be able to positively interact with others, within the department and other departments.
3 years of experience in Non-Invasive Vascular
Including all types of equipment.
