Job Summary:

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring an EKG Tech for our Cardiovascular department located within the Edgewood hospital.

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented EKG Technician to join our Cardiology team. In this role, you will perform high-quality electrocardiogram (EKG) examinations by transporting equipment to patient rooms, explaining procedures, and assisting patients to ensure accurate and reliable results. Responsibilities include performing examinations in accordance with established protocols, retrieving prior records for comparative interpretation, entering examination information into the electronic system, and conducting daily equipment checks while reporting any issues to the Cardiology Manager. The EKG Technician will also support quality assurance initiatives, participate in departmental training programs, and contribute to exceptional patient care through teamwork, professionalism, and a commitment to accuracy and excellence.

Education, Credentials, Licenses:

High school graduate

Specialized Knowledge:

Complete knowledge of the operation of the EKG department
