This position coordinates and produces resident schedules per program and faculty guidelines, including reporting of absences to faculty. This position supports the orientation program for new residents, and supports special projects including the recruitment process, graduation, etc.Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.
Job Description:
- Coordinates and produces for distribution resident schedules for rotations, FPC office, call and noon conference
- Collects and tracks resident rotation evaluations for reporting purposes
- Provides backup and support to residency coordinator during absences
- Provides secretarial and reception support to Faculty and Resident physicians.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education, Credentials, Licenses:
- High school diploma
- Secretarial experience
Specialized Knowledge:
- ACGME standards for resident scheduling and work hours
Kind and Length of Experience:
- 2 yrs in residency program or physician office
