  • Top: Blouses, polos, sweaters, or button-down shirts.
  • Bottom: Slacks, khakis, chinos, or professional trousers.
  • Footwear: Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required (clean sneakers are great!). Socks or stockings must be worn.

To maintain a professional environment, please avoid:

  • Casual Wear: Jeans, shorts, sweatpants, leggings, or t-shirts.
  • Safety Hazards: Sandals, flip-flops, or baggy clothing that drags on the floor.
  • Revealing Attire: Tank tops, bare midriffs, or exposed undergarments.
  • Note: Even though we are in a hospital, please do not wear scrubs for this specific program.

Pro-Tips for Healthcare 101 participants:

We are thrilled to welcome you to St. Elizabeth! As a participant, you are an ambassador of our program. We ask that you treat every interaction with patients and staff with the same courtesy and respect you would expect in a professional interview. Our goal is to ensure a positive, high-quality learning experience for everyone.

Tobacco-Free Campus: St. Elizabeth is committed to a healthy environment. Smoking, vaping, and the use of tobacco products are strictly prohibited on all hospital grounds, including walkways and parking areas.

SETECArriving at SETEC: Continue to the very end of Olympic Blvd. To reach our specific entrance, bypass the first two driveways and follow the road into the cul-de-sac. The driveway is located right as you curve through the cul-de-sac. You may park in any available space and enter through the Main Entrance beneath the overhang.

How the Selection Process Works: Applications open 3 weeks prior to each quarterly event. Because space is limited to 20 individuals per session, we encourage you to submit your completed form early; spots are filled in the order applications are received. You will receive an email notification regarding your acceptance status 7–14 days before the event date.

Life Happens: Attendance & Cancellations: If you are unable to attend due to illness or an emergency, please let us know as soon as possible. Simply reply to your attendance confirmation email to notify the Workforce Development team. To support your career goals, we will provide you with priority placement in the next available session.
