Perioperative Allocated Resource Team (PART)

The System-Wide Perioperative Allocated Resource Team (PART) is a flexible staffing model for Perioperative RN Associates to provide supplemental staffing coverage for pre-existing shift vacancies, call-off shifts, fluctuations in perioperative volume and block scheduling accommodations. These associates will be members of the PART program.
PART Associates are scheduled to work in one of the following resource team tracks allocated to the Perioperative Departments at the following sites; Crestview Surgery Center, Edgewood Surgery, Edgewood Surgery Center, Florence Surgery, and Ft. Thomas Surgery.
- Intra-Op Track: Any intra-operative perioperative facility within the St. Elizabeth Healthcare System
- Pre-Post Track: Any Pre-Post perioperative department within the St. Elizabeth Healthcare System, i.e.: Pre-Admission Testing, Same Day Surgery/Phase II (Pre- and Post-) or Post Anesthesia Care Unit/Phase I
PART Associates will choose from 1 of 6 defined Levels to participate in for 6 Months at a time.
These associates will not have boarded hours, must commit to a track of promised hours in a level below to work. The associate must hold 18 months experience post orientation in the perioperative environment. This opportunity will require travel to all the facilities and require flexibility. There are limited SEH benefits associated with this position, some may be offered at cost to associate, details can be provided by HR representative and PART Program Leadership. All orientation and educational hours are at Level 1
Qualifications
Required:
KY license required to start any RN position but not required to apply or interview.
18 months of post-orientation experience in Pre-Admission Testing, Same Day Surgery/Phase II (Pre- and Post) or PACU/Phase 1
Graduate from accredited School of Nursing. Meets contact hour requirements for licensure, including all state-required courses. Focus of education promotes nurses’ ability to practice in clinical area assigned.
Preferred: BSN, clinical certification, specialized courses and MSN.
